Grow a Garden – Complete Pets Tier List (29 pets)
The Grow a Garden menagerie is split into two broad groups:
- Standard eggs (Common → Mythical) + Bug Egg – 27 "core" pets you can pick up every day from the Egg Shop.
- Launch-event exclusives – 2 limited companions (Panda & Hedgehog) that pushed the original total to 29 pets when the Animal update first shipped.
Every pet supplies a passive buff: some accelerate growth, others roll for mutations, duplicate crops, extend sprinklers, refund seeds, or outright steal produce from rival gardens. The rarer the egg, the flashier (and more lucrative) the effect. In fact, the Bug Egg is widely regarded as the best value because four of its five inhabitants sit in the top two tiers (see table).

How to use this Pets Tier List
- Chasing mutations and duplicates? Focus on Bug Eggs until you land Dragonfly or Red Giant Ant.
- AFK farming / passive profit? A mix of Silver Monkey, Sea Otter, and a mutation pet (Dragonfly or Pig) keeps crops valuable with minimal input.
- Just starting out? Common/Uncommon pets like Dog and Chicken are fine placeholders—swap them out as soon as you hatch a Rare or better companion.
