Sushi is one of ten limited-time food items added during the August 2025 Cooking Event.
- Purpose: trade to Chris P. Pig for high-tier loot or unlock the Sushi Bear cosmetic pet (IGN guide).
- Rarity: equals the lowest rarity of the crops you use; use Tropical-tier fruit for Legendary, Violet Corn for Prismatic.

How to Cook Sushi in Grow a Garden
Gather crops – four Bamboo + one Corn (base recipe from Hindustan Times).
Go to the lobby Cooking Pot.
Press E to place each crop until all five slots glow green.
Hit COOK; the timer is 7 min 21 sec (Prismatic cuts it to 5 min).
Collect the finished Sushi; its border colour shows rarity.
💡 Tip: spray the Corn with Mutation Spray Rainbow before cooking—the dish keeps the colour for style but rarity remains unchanged.
How to Give Sushi to the Pig NPC
Chris P. Pig's speech bubble rotates cravings every hour.
Hold Sushi, press E → "Try this food I cooked up!".
Prismatic Sushi guarantees a Legendary+ chest and counts as 1/10 progress toward unlocking Sushi Bear (IGN).
